Prescription Policy: Mindful Clarity does not prescribe benzodiazepines, stimulants, opioid medications, narcotics, pain medication, or controlled substances of any kind. Our focus is on safe, holistic, and effective alternatives that support mental health.

Insurance and Payment: We accept most major insurances, but it is the patient's responsibility to confirm that our provider is in-network with their insurance plan. All treatment costs are the patient’s responsibility Please visit our Insurance & Fees page for more information.

Appointment Format: We offer virtual and in-person visits.

Emergency/Crisis Care: Mindful Clarity does not provide emergency or crisis care. If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, harmful thoughts, or a mental health crisis, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department immediately.

Refund Policy: We operate a no refund policy. Once services are rendered, charges are non-refundable.

Insurance and Financial Responsibility: We require a debit/credit card to be on file. While we do our best to verify insurance coverage, patients are ultimately responsible for any balances related to services rendered. Please ensure that your insurance plan covers our services and be aware of any co-payments or deductibles that may apply. An unpaid balance will result in cancelation of your appointment and may be subject to collections.

Cancellation Policy: We require a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice will incur a $50 fee.

Form Completion Policy: Mindful Clarity does not complete or prepare disability form requests. We will, however, complete FMLA forms, work/school accommodation under certain circumstances. To be eligible for FMLA form completion, and or medical letters patients must be actively under the care of our provider continuously for a minimum of six months, and have completed 4 appointment visits. Forms/letters are completed within 7-10 business days.

Age Requirements for Care: Mindful Clarity is dedicated to providing specialized psychiatric care for adults. We serve patients ages 20-64. We do not provide care for children.

Service Locations: Currently, Mindful Clarity offers virtual & in-person appointments exclusively for individuals residing in Michigan, and IL (virtual appointments only). This allows us to provide focused and compliant care within state regulations.
